What happens at the end of my car lease? - find out here.
A few months before the end of the contract we will make contact to discuss your options, for example a new lease deal, extending your current deal, or handing the car or van back.
Check the Exterior
Have a good look around for any damage to the paintwor, such as scratches, at least two months before your scheduled collection date. This allows ample time for necessary repairs before returning the car. Additionally, scrutinize the wheels, paying attention to potential scuffs on alloy surfaces.
Check the Interior
Thoroughly check the upholstery for stains or unpleasant odors. Ensure that the features and equipment are in working condition.
Opt for Professional Cleaning
It may be a good ideal to invest in a professional valet to ensure a thorough inspection of the vehicle.
Empty your Belongings
Ensure all personal items are removed from the car.
Organise Documentation
Gather essential paperwork, including original documents, service history, and a valid MOT certificate if required. Don't forget the second key.
We don't expect a leased car to be returned in pristine, brand-new condition. Wear and tear on a vehicle driven for up to five years are understandable, and there's no expectation for the car to appear as if it just rolled out of the showroom.
The key is to maintain the vehicle in good condition, aiming to preserve its state as closely as possible to its original condition.
