It may come as a surprise that the Seat Ibiza has been in existence since the mid-1980s. Indeed, this small car from the Spanish brand has remained a top seller for almost four decades. In its early iterations, the Ibiza boasted engines developed in collaboration with Porsche and styling by the renowned Giorgetto Giugiaro, the mind behind the original Lotus Esprit. While this fifth-generation model might not boast such prestigious partnerships, its popularity is undeniable.
Positioned beneath the Seat Leon hatchback and the taller Arona and Ateca SUVs in the brand's lineup, the Ibiza still offers five doors and ample interior space at an enticingly affordable price point. Seat provides a choice of three petrol engines, with the most potent option available with an optional DSG automatic gearbox. The range comprises six trim levels, each generously equipped with standard features, including the sporty FR and the luxurious Xcellence Lux variants.
